Picnic Island is located in the quaint summer town of Honey Harbour on the south eastern shore of Georgian Bay. We are on the inside navigational channel heading north, providing a natural safe harbour and waterway for canoeing, kayaking and boating. Georgian Bay is also home to some of the worlds best fresh-water boating and fishing. A spring getaway, summer holiday or fishing trip, this is the perfect setting for family and group gatherings.

Along with our eight fully equipped housekeeping cottages, Picnic Island has over 80 campsites on beautiful Southern Georgian Bay for seasonal or daily rental. Our island property is accessible by car or boat and has over 3000 ft of waterfront on 12 acres. We have sandy beaches, a large grocery and general store, fry hut, and large marine gas dock with 13ft draft. Picnic Island Store, with a 75 year history, features full grocery line, butcher shop, deli, fresh produce, ice cream shop, and summer fashions galore!
